Fall College Retreat!!! October 19 - 21, 2012 Keynoter: TBA   This is a busy weekend on the interstates coming to the mountains! Plan for delays in your travel!

Since 1989, the College Retreat has offered an annual retreat in the autumn for college students. It's a time for former campers to return and those who have never been to Christmount to be introduced to the retreat center. The retreat's themes deal with issues that help college students deepen their faith walk and be challenged to think seriously about how their faith influences their life choices. Who comes? college students from around the country. It's an ecumenical event! How much does it cost? $75.00 covers your lodging on Friday and Saturday night, all Saturday meals, Sunday breakfast, and the conference fee.

How to register: Register directly with Rev. Jamie Brame, Christmount's Church Relations Director. E-mail Jamie (jamiebrame@yahoo.com) or call 828-669-8977 to register no later than midnight, October 18, 2011. This date is set so that we can have an accurate meal count and make sure we have enough beds in the Group Lodge and cabins for you. If you are coming with a group just make sure your group leader has your name by October 15. 

When and how do you pay? Pay with cash, check, or credit/debit card (Master Card, Visa and Discover) upon arrival. If you are coming with a group, your group leader will let you know whether you are paying as a group or as individuals. No money needs to be sent ahead of time!

  - Comfortable clothing (it gets cool in the evenings in October in the mountains!)

  - Bedding for twin beds (sleeping bag or sheets and blankets, pillows); there is an extra charge for renting bedding.

Directions:
Take Exit 64 off of I-40 at Black Mountain.
Take NC 9 south to the fork in the road, then bear left.
Go about 1 mile: Christmount will be on your left.
Come to the Guest House, the first building on your left, about 2/10 mile into the property, to register and get directions to your lodging and pick up a schedule.
