Discovery Weekend Women’s Retreat is a time of spiritual renewal, relaxation,
fellowship, worship and recreation. The weekend includes keynotes, discussion, lively
music and meaningful worship. The theme of Taste and See will center around seeing,
smelling and, of course, tasting chocolate.
“Taste and see that the Lord is good!”
Rev. Dr. Pam Harris will lead a faithful and, oh yes, tasteful experience. Pam has served
as the Director of Camps, Conferences and Retreat Ministries for the North Central New
York Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Bring your friends for a women’s weekend away!

planning for building renovation and expansion at two camps in North Central New York Conference.
Pam has taught on the International Association of Conference Center Administrators faculty for the certification of
conference center professionals. Pam's training in Organizational Development is through University Associates.
With her husband Garrie, she developed a model for group spiritual discernment, which is published in the
book, "Seeking and Doing God's Will -- Spiritual Discernment for the Community of Faith," (Discipleship Resources, 1998). They have led workshops and
programs across the country in discernment, camp/conference center administration, and creative spirituality.
