Sabbatical Housing for Clergy

Christmount has a two-room apartment in Guest House East available for clergy sabbaticals. This apartment includes a living/study area, kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom, heat and air-conditioning, and is fully furnished. Wireless internet is available in the Guest House (you must provide your own computer and printer).

Clergy can reserve the apartment for up to a month. When there are meals available in the Dining Hall, you may make reservations to eat the meal at regular rates. Otherwise, you may use the kitchenette for meals or go into town (Christmount is only five minutes from over twenty restaurants in Black Mountain, as well as two grocery stores).

Requirements for sabbatical use: clergy must make a written request as well as provide a letter from a congregational/jurisdictional leader (General Board moderator or the equivalent) or general/regional unit supervisor.
