Week of Wonder is a mission opportunity for adults to come to Christmount,
help us prepare for the summer, and watch the wondrous transformation of
our grounds from the ravages of winter and spring into the beautiful place our campers and conferees
have come to know and love, a place where lives are changed for Christ.
Each summer,
Christmount
hosts
hundreds of
youth and
adults for
camps
and
conferences.
Christmount
relies on
volunteer
workers,
both youth
and
adults, to
help us
maintain
camp and
conference
areas,
trails,
playgrounds,
worship
areas, and
buildings.
These
volunteers
enable us to
offer
lower-cost
camps to
children and
youth as
well as
camper
scholarships.
Christmount
ministers to
low-income
children and
offers
ministers a
place of
retreat
during
sabbaticals
and church
members a
reasonably-priced
retreat
center. You
can be
part of this
ministry by
coming and
spending
part of a
week
working with
other
volunteers
who love
Christmount
and
want to
prepare the
grounds,
buildings
and trails
for a
summer of wonder for
both
children and
adults!
